Meet the Guitar Pickguard Artist

Desiree Colonna is our CEO and owner. She is an Atlanta artist who has worked in the digital design industry for over 23 years.

I’ve been an entrepreneur and artist for many decades and own four different companies in Atlanta including a web design company, event artist and promo gift company as well as Pickguard Artist.

I started by creating signs and invitations and then added calligraphy to anything I could get my hands on including glass, metal, leather, crystal and wood. I learned how to emboss leather and our main company, Inkwell Designers® really took off. Our customer base has since doubled and now includes clients such as Hermés, Charlotte Tilbury, Christian Dior, Saks Fifth Avenue, American Express, Bloomingdale’s, Whole Foods, Dillard’s, Macy’s and many international companies worldwide.

I started designing guitar pickguards for my brother who plays every guitar known to man. I used my uv printer and fell in love with the look. I showed his pickguard around to some guitarists and, after their feedback, I was convinced this was a market looking for someone to take the reigns. Here I am ready to help you make your guitar really special. I've worked with Reba McEntire's bass guitarist, Luke Bryan, Dead & Company and many more.
